About Us

The Formative Foundation (formerly known as DPEA Foundation) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation incorporated in the State of California. We provide funding, connections and guidance in support of transformative learning experiences in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) across school districts locally and beyond for people of all ages to develop the critical thinkers and creative problem solvers needed to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
